Sixth Patriarch Zen Center is our nonprofit organization committed to the search and embodiment for the awakening of our Essence Mind.
Ch'an or Zen meditation is a direct spiritual path. With awakening, all that remains is harmony, love, peace, compassion, and wisdom. But with poor health or energy and emotional imbalances, many obstacles arise for deep sitting meditation and awakening.
With wisdom and pure intention, if we combine Zen and Taoist practices we can enter a deep spiritual path with balanced health and purified mind, and achieve great awakening. It is with this vision that we hold a space of healing through the various services we offer such as Energy Analysis, Personalized Diet, Acupuncture, Energetic practices, and Balancing Herbs based on the Chinese Healing System. These methods will help our body to connect with its innate intelligence creating better health to align with our essence mind and natural awakening.

Master Hyunoog Sunim is the Abbott of the Sixth Patriarch Zen Center in Seoul, South Korea. He continues to lead dharma gatherings and give dharma teachings several times a week. He also teaches meditation and various kinds of physical practices like Sun Do and Chi Gung to help balance the subtle energies within.
